The Buddy System Network of London, ON, Canada, earns fourth-year accreditation from the NHWA!
Deb Hrushka had a long career in general managerial experience with some pretty large concerns in various Canadian provinces. After moving back to Ontario, her focus changed when she saw the need for a different kind of service—one that would combine her experiences in senior management with the needs of others. A business that would offer help to people who needed assistance with things they didn’t have time to do, or needed another set of hands–you know…like having a buddy. And The Buddy System Network was born.
Deb is very proud to be running her own company now. While providing services like estate liquidation and “decluttering” clients’ homes, The Buddy System Network can also handle small business accounting. But Home Watch is now the core business. With so many Snowbirds and corporate travelers who leave their homes for periods of time, this has become a crucial service. It’s the same for people who go to Cottage Country for more than four days at time during winter months. They can be denied coverage by their insurance companies if they don’t have someone checking on their homes while they are away. Bad things can happen in an empty home, and having TBSN keeping an eye on things can keep potential disasters from occurring.
Deb and her team are committed to their motto, “Life is Easier with a Buddy!”
A little about the National Home Watch Association: The NHWA was formed in 2009 in order to establish and maintain the highest industry standards for Home Watch and absentee homeowner services throughout the United States and Canada (www.nationalhomewatchassociation.org).
