Home Watch STL of St. Louis, MO, earns accreditation from the NWHA!

Jack Luber
Executive Director

Greetings!

Home Watch STL of St. Louis, Missouri, has earned Accredited Member status from the NHWA.

Co-Owner Linda Duke, a Louisiana native, moved to St. Louis with her husband, Dean. They fell in love with the charm and character of the neighborhoods of the Central Corridor and raised their family there.

Linda’s experience includes 25 years in consulting, marketing, and resident services for communities such as Aberdeen Heights and The Gatesworth. She’s also active in her community, over the years serving on committees for the Kirkwood Chamber of Commerce and for VOYCE, a charitable advocacy service for seniors. Dean has an extensive background in federal law enforcement, and owns a local security firm, which serves as an invaluable resource for Home Watch STL’s customers.

A St. Louis native, Co-Owner Terri Matheis grew up in Clayton and graduated from the University of Missouri – Columbia. She went into real estate directly out of college, developing extensive experience across all aspects of the business—from residential sales to property management services to leasing Class A commercial office buildings, specializing in the St Louis Central Corridor. She worked with seniors and was asked to join the boards of the Clayton Chamber of Commerce, Professionals in Retirement Community Living, and the Continuum of Care Marketing Association.

Linda and Terri have both earned the designation of Certified Home Watch Professional from the NHWA, making them two of the elite Home Watch providers in the industry. The CHWP designation shows their commitment to providing excellent service to their clients.

As sales counselors in senior living communities, Terri and Linda kept hearing of families having to sell an elderly loved one’s home “as is,” because maintenance had fallen short over the years. They began to conceptualize a Home Watch service to help not only these seniors, but also homeowners of all ages as well as landlords, banks, and realtors.
